The Quest
Not all grilled cheese sandwiches are created equal. There’s more to perfection than just cheese and bread. As a devoted grilled cheese enthusiast, I’ve made it my mission to scour the earth (or midwest, as it were) for the tastiest sandwiches publicly available. The rules are simple: the sandwich must consist primarily of cheese and bread. Meat and veggie additions are ok, with the absolute exception of a beef patty. Omissions and/or substitutions on my part are completely within my rights. (Hold the tomatoes, please.) Most importantly: NO KIDS MENU GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES! (a.k.a, “KMGC”)
I welcome your tasty grilled cheese suggestions! If you’ve had a sandwich you think I should try, or you’ve been somewhere you think I should go, please click the ‘contact me’ button and tell me about it. Similarly, if you’ve had one of the sandwiches I’ve blogged about, I’m interested to hear your thoughts. (Agree? Disagree?) Please comment!
Regards,
Erin

I love this idea! My kids love grilled ceehse, especially with the cheap white bread and American ceehse. Not the most nutritional meal, but I treat them every now and then. Most of the time I make it with real cheddar on whole wheat bread and then I feel like a better mom. My kids don’t enjoy it as much that way, though. 😉
